From Idea to Screen. Mocha Chai does Development, Production, Post and Distribution
Mocha Chai Laboratories (MCL) is an end-to-end boutique studio, where we Develop our own IPs, Produce our own content and Distributing them.
What started out as a post production outfit focusing on high end post production deliveries for the cinema, MCL has evolved to become a development house, where we now create original IPs and produce them. Led by filmmaker Chai Yee Wei and industry veteran Michelle Chang, MCL is taking its philosophy of “doing things right” in post, and extending it to content creation. And we are setting our sights on not just Asia, but Global.
Singapore’s Mocha Chai Laboratories and Emissary Pictures, a company that straddles New Zealand, Australia and Indonesia, have announced a strategic partnership for the development and production of cross-cultural films, series and content in Asia.
